Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Seasons - Spring and Summer/Seasons - Fall and Winter"  Seasons - Spring and Summer - For Show and Tell at school, Nick and Sally must bring something from their favourite season. But how can they choose which is their favourite? The Cat in the Hat takes them to the magical Garden of Seasons, where they can visit any season they like, any time they like! They meet three young animals and journey with them as they begin to grow up. Sally decides that she has two favourite seasons, and with the pictures taken from the Snaparama camera, she now has a scrapbook of pictures to show why! Seasons - Fall and Winter - It's Nick's turn to choose a favourite season. D

Wild Kratts  "Raptor Roundup"  Martin and Chris challenge themselves to ID as many hawks, eagles, owls, falcons and vultures as they can. But the evil endangered species chef, Gaston Gourmand has his own plan for the raptors and has been capturing them all in his quest to find the tastiest bird wing. Will the Wild Kratts team succeed in rescuing the raptors before they become Gourmand's next gourmet delicacy? They'll have to use everything they know about classification and birds of prey - to round up the raptors and return them to where they belong - living free and in the wild!. D

Dialogue for Kids  "Animal Migration"  Animal migrations don't just happen in the spring and arent just something birds do. Lots of different animals migrate and for good reasons. Why? What is it that drives animals to move from one part of the country to another and then back again? Joan Cartan-Hansen and her guest scientists Jeff Knetter, wildlife biologist with the Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game and Vicky Runnoe, conservation educator with the Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game, will answer questions about animal migration.G

The Desert Speaks  "Desert Treasures"  The desert can yield a bounty of treasures, but what does gold have in common with trees, fish and meteorites? To the right person, they all have a sentimental, if not monetary, value. Using the Tucson Gem and Mineral show as a launching pad for the quest, The Desert Speaks travels around the country's deserts to find out where exactly these items come from and who values these unusual treasures. The search begins with a hunt for fish fossils in the Red Desert of Wyoming and then a visit to the Painted Desert with the Bach family. D

Outdoor Idaho  "Canyonlands Calling"  Cameras roam desert expanses, narrow canyons, mountains and rock formations of the southwest corner of Idaho. Participants reveal how eight years of collaborative effort among many interests can culminate in the federal Owyhee Initiative that includes many uses, including designated wilderness.G

One year later, the natural world is well on its way back to health.G

Into the Deep: America, Whaling & the World: American Experience   Filmmaker Ric Burns tells an epic tale of three centuries of American whaling and the unique relationship between the hunter and the hunted, which begins in earnest in 1690 among the Quakers on Nantucket Island. The film explores two events that anchor whaling in the American consciousness. The Essex is rammed and sunk off the coast of Peru in 1820 by a sperm whale as long as the ship itself. Only eight sailors survive. In 1840, Herman Melville ships out on a whaling vessel that meets another vessel near where the Essex sank. The son of an Essex survivor gives Melville a copy of his father's memoir, which inspires Moby Dick.G
